This document describe the way to set the IP address, address mask,  
and gateway address of the uPAC-7186EG controller.

uPAC-7186EG USES TCP/IP PORT NO. 502 TO TALK TO THE HMI 
AND ISAGRAF WORKBENCH.
******************************************************************


1. Create a file folder named "7186EG" in your hard drive. 
   For example, "c:\7186EG".

2. Copy \Napdos\ISaGRAF\7186EG\Driver\1.01\"7188xw.exe", "7188xw.ini", 
   "7188xw.f4", "isa7186e.exe", "autoexec.bat" & "86-07131.IMG" 
   from the CD_ROM into your "7186EG" folder.

3. Run "\7186EG\7188xw.exe" in your hard drive. A "7188xw" screen will appear. 

4. Link COM1 or COM2 of your PC to COM1 of the uPAC-7186EG controller 
   through a RS232 cable. 

5. Power off the uPAC-7186EG controller, connect pin "INIT" to "GND" 
   and then power it up.

6. If the connection is Ok, messages will appear on the 7188xw screen.

7. Type "ip" to see the current IP address of the I-7188EG .

      IP=192.168.255.1

8. Type "ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" to set to a new IP address.

      i7186EX_UDP> ip 192.168.1.200
      [ReadBack]IP=192.168.1.200

9. Type "mask" to see the current address mask of the I-7188EG .

      i7186EX_UDP> mask
      MASK=255.255.0.0
      i7186EX_UDP>

10.Type "mask xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" to set to a new address mask.

      i7186EX_UDP> mask 255.255.255.0
      [ReadBack]MASK=255.255.255.0
      i7186EX_UDP>

11.Type "gateway" to see the current gateway address.

      i7186EX_UDP> gateway
      Gateway=192.168.0.1
      i7186EX_UDP>

12.Type "gateway xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" to set to a new gateway address.

      i7186EX_UDP> gateway 192.168.1.1

13.Type "mac" to see the current Ethernet address.

      i7186EX_UDP> mac
      Ethernet Address=00:80:32:00:33:5e

14.Type "mac xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" to set to a new Ethernet  address.

      i7186EX_UDP> mac 80:80:80:80:80:80

15. Type "isa7186e *s=xxx" to set to a new Slave number.

      i7186EX_UDP> isa7186e *s=5
      Set Slave number=5


16.Press ALT_X to exit "7188xw".

17. Remove the connection between "INIT*" - "GND", reset the uPAC-7186EG.
